OK, we did warm up under a basking light that morning, but we are big girls and we need to make up for our past lives! Weeds are weeds.

I too was surprised at how Fernando doesn't really mind 60 degree weather as long as there are weeds to eat. Of course I too bring him in to warm up after that. :D Cute little girls that you have there.

Thanks, all. I try to get them out even for an hour when I can, squeezing the last bit out of the season as winter approaches...

Nice picture. What is the plant they both seem to think is "the one" to be eating?

OK, you got me. It sprouted from the T-Lady seed mix for Med Torts, but until there is a flower, most of them look the same to me :p. There are not any grasses, and I know it is not a dandelion.
BTW, I am in the process of expanding their area so they get more seasonal sun (darn sun won't cross the sky in one place, lol), and plan to seed more areas now so they get an early start in Spring.
Fun times.

yes, the one on the left is about 12 years old (if previous owners were correct). I just purchased a scale and will measure and weigh her and post the info. She is heavy like a stone! But very active.
