Jack is a mighty cute little turtle. I love their eyes.

What's the story behind his house right now?

He is very cute. Love the name too. However, as Yvonne said, the tine bowl with the plastic Palm tree is nothing but a death trap for Jack.

Jack needs a proper aquarium, with good filtration, heater, basking dock or log to get out of the water and a basking uvb light over the dock/log to warm up over 80-85 degrees so he can properly digest his food.

The changes don't quickly will keep Jack happy and much healthier
