tommorrow im going to clean out taylor i have play sand to mix with top soil jazzy to wants to know can taylor have just a sand corner bit like a sand pit to make sand castles in i have told her tortoises dont make sand castles she said i know that im not silly but she might like it to play other tortoise games in it
well i said i would ask

LOL, cute question I would not put an all sand area for Taylor. Sand gets in the eyes and nose and caked around the limbs, and can cause problems if accidentally ingested. I would stick to a mix if you use it at all.

Jazzy is just too sweet While sand may sound like a good idea (after all, torts are from the desert, right?) Kristina is right. Plain sand would be too irritating.
Nelson's eyes got really irritated when I just had sand mixed in with his coconut coir It also stuck to his face. I ended up switching to coir mixed with organic topsoil. Nelson and I both like it much better

How is Taylor doing?? We haven't seen you around much lately! I think we need some pictures

taylor is wonderful shes doing great ill take photos tommorrow jazzy watches taylor more than the tv her friends find it very boring though lol
our neighbours think we are now mad since i went and knocked on their door and complimented their weed garden and ask to steal some till the ones we planted grow their reply was your crazy you want to steal weeds fine by me go ahead did you say you planted weeds ? lol
