This is Julian. Bought the same time as Frankel. He's making a run for it into the hide as he doesn't like being caught out in the open in the concrete pen! Frankel is staying with the flowers but he still has his beady eye on me !

Julian looks great. You have a couple of really nice leopards.

Your leopards are lovely! And I went to take a peek at your blog. Your cactus and succulents are wonderful, too. But wait, 140 degrees in August? Oh my!

I wondered, curious ... are your leopard tortoises babcocki? And if so do you happen to know from what area? I read not too long ago that some leopard tortoises had made it over to Spain (and I did think that I read that they went to the south) from the Ethiopian region and when I saw the pictures of them, they were magnificent. And not just magnificent, but huge! I also read that some did not make the transition and died, but some in fact did live. Did your breeder happen to share any information like that, with you? About the region they are from?

Thankyou for your comments. I'm pretty sure my two were bred in Spain as the owner of the shop where I bought them from, rang the breeders to ask how old they were. So I don't really know if they are babcocki.

I guess I meant to write that the temps. get to 40 degrees here in summer!! DUH----must proof read a bit better!!::)
