Kale

Hello,
I was wondering if kale is okay to give my tortoise? I saw everywhere that kale is fine but i guess my tortoise doesn’t not like it.

He avoids it and goes for the lettuce and hibiscus leaves. Also the baby rocket leaves he ate a bit and avoid it.

Yes, kale is fine in moderation - 1-2 times a week or for one week in small amounts (if you get a mixed greens bag) and then something else for a couple of weeks. Some tortoises are picky and there are some seasonal and species-related preferences. My redfoot doesn't like kale and other brassicas too.
