Good day!
I built what I believed to be the best enclosure i could, ascetically speaking. BUT, after 3 months, my 3 adult hermanns have destroyed everything. Thats ok with me as they are all very healthy. First, they flipped over every potted plant and, totally steamrolled the planted plants. 1 potted plant remains. Gosh, are they strong lil buggers!
My 3 water bowls were daily filled with soaked substrate, which clogged up my bowl water and drain plumbing. So, i just have hand refilled water bowls now. The 3 log hides are big, but not big enough so they push them around a bit.
All in all, i still enjoy having them. So, keep it simple and plain as you can and don’t be like me spending 100 hours to make it “pretty”.
LOL LOL.

And now you can join the many people warning against complicated plumbing for water dishes 😅

Me thinks the enclosure is too small for three tortoises.

lol for what it’s worth, I’m sure your enclosure still looks great! It’s such an awesome build!
