I have finally decided how to build my tortoise’s outdoor enclosure except for one component. How do I keep the little bugger from digging out? I have seen some mention lining the inside edges with pavers. I have lots of spare concrete path pavers. If I lined the edges like this, can he still dig out?

Can and will are two different things. Mine only has tried to dig out where there are no pavers so it works for me, definitely worth trying… here’s mine where you can see the pavers

I would add a L shaped lip or a roof to your enclosure just in case. Russians might try climbing the walls, especially in the corners where two walls meet.
