Thought we just need to remind ourselves how tough, resilient and adaptable our wonderful shelled friends are. Today on the news in the UK this fellow was found in the sorting lane at the land fill site. He has been thrown, tossed, squashed, dropped and much more I am sure 🥴 and he is mighty fine.

Why are people so surprised when they have walked with dinosaur's and survived the big bang plus more evolving changes to their environment...

They never had us then did they.... Interesting food for thought ☺️.

The scrapes on the front of his carapace remind me of dog chews. Wouldn't surprise me a bit to learn a dog carried him out of his yard.
