I don't know if that is the correct name for this species, but it is safe for your tortoise to eat it.

Looks a bit like a large sow thistle to me but wild lettuce can look like that when it's young and juicy. I'll know better when it grows taller or the water source dries up! Either way, it's safe to feed.
