Hi, I have a tortoise that is about 8/9months old.

I am away Friday and most like Saturday night this weekend and my friend who usually has pops round isn’t available. Will it be safe to leave my tort for two nights with plenty of water and food? There is a dark compartment of her enclosure where she can sleep.

Really running out of options and starting to worry!

I think that as long as the temp/humidity are dialed in, the tort will be fine ... I left mine solo for a week while on vacation.

I made sure to soak and feed him extra before and after my absence, and he was fine.

Thank you! I have left her alone for one night before and done similar as you have mentioned. Just worry cause she is still so small. Thanks!

My guy is a redfoot, I don't know if that makes a difference in their ability to weather an absence or not, but he was around 100g the first time I left him for a few days as a trial-run for the longer vacation.

Should be fine as long as everything is on timers.
