Hello! Scooter is my fourth month old leopard tortoise whom I've had for a little over three weeks. I've read that leopards don't burrow so I'm a little confused as to what Scooter is doing. I want your guys opinion on if he's too hot or trying to find more humidity or something else?? He had a humid hide to the left of the picture but he really hasn't used it. I know he knows it is there though because he's wondered into it a few times. As you can see in first the picture, he gets under the log and just lays there. He's even cleared out the mulch from that spot. Should I be worried about this behavior or is it totally normal? Second pic is just showing that I do have a humid thing over top of the enclosure. Third and fourth pic is of the enclosure. Also I know I keep calling Scooter a "him" and I know that I don't actually know
it just feels right right now.
