Leopard tort is eating a lot more

My 8 month old leopard tort is chirping a lot more and a lot more active and wants to eat a lot more. Is it possible he is preparing for hibernation?

Leopards don't brumate. The chirping? Not sure what you mean by chirping.

interesting. could you maybe get a video of this? ive read about tortoises making noises, one member posted about their tort make a sort of squeaking noise at them when they werent given enough food.
