Lid of my tortoise enclosure

Hey everyone. I'm totally new to this I website but really like using it for my information.

I will be purchasing a red foot tortoise soon and want to know what to put as a lid for his enclosure. If I was were to put a window screen on top would it burn from the heat of the lamp? Are they fireproof? Any information is helpful thanks!

I will be purchasing a large 15 gallon tub from Walmart. I've heard it's great for space so the tortoise can roam around

I'd go bigger if you can and they come with lids. You can cut a section of lid out for your bulb as well.

15 gallon? Could you share a picture or a link to the tub, it sounds pretty small.
