You should probably get one with a larger bell. Those small ones don't seem to stay screwed together very well.

The only time I've had a light explode is when it was hot and water hit it.

You should be good with a fixture like that...but buy it at Home Depot or Wal-Mart or someplace like that. It will be cheaper.

If you're planning to put a MVB in it, then be sure it has a ceramic base.

Looked at the ad again and actually, $9.50 isn't a bad price for a clamp light with a ceramic base. But still, get the 10" bell.

Walmart had a big variety of sizes..I think the biggest was 10" (maybe 12") with ceramic socket for $5

Oh I will actually get the bigger one as you all said. :)
I was just using that as reference.
But yes, I plan on going to home depot to get it since the wally world here doesnt have it.

And for my sully hatchling I plan on giving it sunlight.
I plan on using the UV bulb only for rainy/gloomy/cloudy days.
The fixture will be for heating. But I will need two; one for heat one for UV.
