Lights and distance

Hey guys

So it is getting a little cold in the afternoon so I brought my torts in. I have a question about my powersun 100 watt. When I keep it in the range of 12 to 18 inches my thermo is reading anywhere between 109 to 112. I am using Flukers brand digital. When I place the light above 20 it reads 95 to 98. I am concerned they will not get uva/uvb if placed to high. Any suggestions?? Also enclosure is a 71/76 tub and the cold side stays around 75 to 77..with the middle around 80. HELP

First, I'd check it with a different thermometer, yours might be malfunctioning.
But if it's not the UV is fine, they will still get it.

I would get a temp gun and check it again
