live food?

Any ideas on how 2 give my 10 year old elongated tort bugs or slugs? I rescued her.She's never had anything but romaine hearts. Iv found she likes all sort of fruits n vegies but shouldn't she have protien to?

It should be as simple as placing live food in the habitat in a way that it can move and attract her attention before the food escapes. Dishes with fairly steep walls work nicely- like large plastic jar caps. You may need to offer them a few times before she gets interested. I'd start with worms.

Thanks, what kind of worms? Meal worms, wax woms earth worm?
