I don't understand - are they not leaving ANY of the eggs in the ground to try to incubate naturally? I mean, if artificial doesn't do it, then I would try leaving them alone.

And as far as the weight loss - up the humidity. The fungus - up the air flow or change the media. What kind of experts are runnin' this stuff? LOL. Give some of us forum members a few of those eggs and we'll show ya how it is done... :D :D :D

i see now..
i wonder if 70 is at the end of breeding age tho.. i have a male llama and even tho he still wants to.. im not sure he could...

No, 70 isn't old at all. And tortoises typically become MORE fertile with age, not less, like mammals.
