I think you can search for one anywhere and have them shipped with no issues. I purchased an adult leopard tortoise from Pennsylvania a few months ago and the shipping was very easy, safe and fast.

You know, and you probably know this, if you get both a red foot and sulcata, you should keep them separated. Kind of a pain, unless you are set up for that.

I would have a red footed tortoise available for adoption, probably male, about 25 years old, well taken care of and healthy. But we live in Chicago. Perhaps we could meet somewhere in the middle?
