Lost my very first red ear slider I got

It is a sad day for me I lost the very first RES I got almost 30 years ago, when I was eight. I was always proud to say that I had my RES for almost thirty years, I am almost 100% positive it was old age, because she was already an adult when I got her. I am sad to see her go, but I take comfort in knowing I had her for a long time, and she had a pretty good life, eating and basking in the sun.

Thanks for the kind words, and thoughts, this one hit me hard, since this is the turtle that kindled my love for turtles and tortoises. I don't know if I have any pictures I will look through my collection and see if I have any, me personally did not think to take pictures since they are so long lived you think they will be around forever.
