The original owner i got my 2 hermanns from was told when they were babies they were 2 females. When they were about 7 she took them to vet and was told it was one boy and one girl. I have taken them to vet today and he said although can be hard to tell with torts he's sure it's 2 girls! One does lay eggs although none have been fertile and I realise this can happen in absence of male. He said the one we thought was boy only has slightly longer tail and not concave shell although top of shell is slightly deformed anyway so this may hinder things. Any ideas on how to tell definatly or shall I wait and see? I don't mind either way they are lovely :)
