Hi all!
My male tortoise (really old), has swollen gland below the cheek for a month now.
I thought it would shrink eventually, but it never has. The problem is that I live in a small island and I have no access to a reptile vet. And based on my experience with other pets with the local vets, I wouldn't trust them with a tortoise.
Is there anything I can do until I find a way to get in touch with a specialist vet?
He is lives outside in the yard and he is generally active, eating, sleeping, drinking etc. No saliva from nose or mouth and the poop looks good/normal.
