Meet Mr. Makari

He's a Russian, and his name is Makari!

My Girlfriend and I are Tortoise/Turtle enthusiast, we reside in Michigan. We have a little experience and a fair amount of research invested. We Picked up Makari today. We went to a Reptile show but no one really had Russians or Hermans at all... We went to a pet store to see if we could find a healty in body and spirit tortie, and there he was!

We got him in a nice habitat, that pic was his first bath! He was a little dirty..

He seems like a happy boy and is inquisitive and very responsive!

Glad to hear he has a good habitat. Is that an aquarium you're bathing him in? I always just use Tupperware with shallow water.
