Hey!

I think your tortoise might be older than 3 years, pet stores often lie about their age when selling wild caught adults. A pucture from their underside and a measurement from their tail to head (bottom of the shell) will help to approximate their age.

Also, no cherries or any fruit/berries for Russian tortoises, they don't handle sugar well, so we recommend not feeding them all together.

Your waterbowl seems slippery, you should change it to a terracotta saucer.

What size is the enclousure? If this is an adult tortoise, that looks too small.

We also advice against free roaming, because it is impossible to make compleatly safe.

Please read these as a new member to do a self check on your care:

Welcome to the coolest forum in the Milky Way Galaxy!
There is a ton of info here on Russians, when ya have time check out some of the sticky threads at the top. You seem to care about Peanut Butter and would be crushed if something bad happened. Everyone can learn something they may not be doing the best from other tort owners. Looking forward to see ya hanging around here.
