modified enclosure what do u think?

So i was told to make a hideing place in my torts enclosure and i did, so my torts personality totally change today, she became some what less shy and more happy...today was the first time she ate out of my hand im so happy.

May i suggest a lil fan blowing into the aquarium to help circulate the stale air that glass aquairums hold in. this way your tort get great frsh air !

ya when i soak her i put a fan in there so its not bad air, i just dont do it all the time cuz she could get dirt in her eye or somthing its just a pre-caution.

you should really switch to a rubbermaid tub...they are cheap, and light, and much better for torts. Walmart has some big ones recently.

yeah something so the tortoise cant see out of since it leads to alot of stress for the tortoise. what i plan to do for my enclosure is to just use a book case and turn that into a mini habitat for my sulcatas

Krissy...I know you are trying to do the best for your little tortoise...but aquariums aren't good for her and your substrate can't be kept moist so she's going to be too dry all the time. If you don't keep her extremely well hydrated she could get impacted from the substrate. So I have just given you 2 reasons to change her substrate...
