I've been using a lemongrass spray when working in the yard. Mosquitos are horrible here and I need all the help I can get. Wanted to be sure it was safe around torts and see if any of you use it. It really does help reduce Mosquitos.

I have not. However, I would not spray it on anything a tortoise would eat or drink. The pet safe usually pertains to dogs, cats and birds. My cousin one time had her yard treated, animal safe they said. Well, she ended up with dead wild birds in her yard. I'm wouldn't trust any kind of poison like that around any of my animals, specially ones they are not really referring to.
I avoid spraying on the plants for that reason.
