Indeed. The slop was so thick I'm surprised (and grateful) she was able to haul herself out of it.

OMGosh, Sulcata are fun. Big Sam throws water, but I'll have to make a mud hole. Is her burrow flooded? What a pretty, and happy tortoise.

She had a burrow for the longest time, but then the roof started caving in and she was trying to work her way out when there were stairs instead of the normal downward slide. Tom came by and actually went down the burrow - if you search you should find the post from that visit. We don't encourage burrows anymore (poor RV) as she likes to dig under the trees where the water makes the ground softer. Our yard now has 1x1 pavers in the holes to discourage deep digging.
