My First Redfoot (Pics)

I ordered my first Redfoot tortoise from The Turtle Source since they were on sale (15% off), and it came in today. I ordered a yearling so that it would already have some size to it. I was surprised to see that it's almost as large as a box turtle already. I know they grow to around 12 inches so they must grow fast when young. How fun! Anyway, the tortoise arrived in great shape. I soaked him/her for 30 minutes. This afternoon, he devoured a hibiscus flower already. Eating on the first day is excellent in my book.
