I have a new sully baby. I am trying to get pics uploaded. I also need help making sure this cactus is edible for my baby. Also help identifying gender unless s/he is too small yet.

Now thats a smooth baby! Much too small to be sexed yet but the guessing game is always fun :). I'm gonna go with female.

Here is the cactus that I need help to know if its edible for Oogway.

It looks like opuntia, if so they can eat it, u can burn or scrape the needles off to feed it to your tort, I've heard of some people giving it to them as is, I don't feel comfortable doing it for a hatchling, you can wear some heavy duty rubber gloves and take them off as well. Cut it up in quarter inch strips.

Good luck with the cactus. I still cannot get mine to eat the stuff. I have suffered so many pains trying to get the needles off and it feels like it is always for nothing. I have ordered the spineless stuff and will see if my torts. start to like it with less pain to my hands. I also cut mine up very small without the skin and still, nothing. I am hoping that if I keep offering it to them that they will eventually start to like it. Again, good luck and your Oogway is adorable!:)

Try pans purée it with their other foods that they like, that's how I tricked Remi into eating grass for the 1st time. :)
