He was! No just weeds/grass. Can they have cane grass? If so...I'd go to the mountain and get some for them!

I just got back from Chicago where it was 10-15 degrees most of the time. It warmed up to 22 one day and we thought that felt great.

That equatorial sun in your pic looks very inviting. I may have to bring the family over there for a visit.

I love seeing baby torts in the sun.

Remind me not to complain when it hits 75 degrees here.

We spend every morning out in the sun. I love watching them roam the yard and exploring. Great start for the day

I think it is cane greass. And yes they cane have it. Its actuall really good for them and it is native to Africa. Cane grass or elephant grass or napier grass (pennisetum.purpureum). The stuff in your picture looks like it when its small or has been mowed over.

Learned something new today, thanks! They love it! So if it's raining or too cold out I'm out in the yard cutting grass and whatever else greens I notice they eat a lot
