Thank u rayLittlefoot is looking great! Nice job .
I really enjoyed staring at these pictures ☺️
Eating, growing... more eating.... much more growing. That is the main meaning of life of a sulcata !
He's a doll. And you take really good pics.
Also, do you know how old he is? He has really morphed over time!
I got the mulch at the place where we got him( Miami reptile) we basically got every thing that he has from there and they said he should be fine and not to go above 75. I am also soaking him 2 times a day but I just got him yesterday@Sulcatatortoise101 if you have any questions ask on the sulcata section. check pinned threads for useful caring information that some members here have gathered over the years. From your pictures i see multiple things wrong. Wood chips do not make good substrate, cypress mulch would be a good thing to get instead. The tank is much too small, a minimum of a 40 gal is recommended. The tank also looks very dry, once you get a different substrate, make sure its very damp. Your tortoise should also have a water dish big enough to soak in at all times, as well as cuddle bone. what lamp are you using? Also, what are you feeding him? He should be getting mostly grass. finally, he should be getting soaked daily. Welcome to the forum by the way! we are here to help.
