Hey so even though school ended 2 weeks ago i finally decided to share the 2 tortoise related art projects i did in art this year.

Heres the first one. It was a pencil grid drawing of the small picture on the bottom which is a sulcata.

Here's the second one. It was a clay sculpture that i designed to be a phone holder/charger and speaker. I thought it was a good idea until i realized that i could not create the figure of a tortoise if my life depended on it. Even though the anatomy was terrible along with the coloring (my failed attempt at creating a redfoot lol) i still use it every night to charge my phone which is why i made it so...
So there's my art. I think the drawing was MUCH more successful than the sculpture but oh well :)

Learning to scale from a grid. Very nice. And let's just say that you're giving Andy Warhol a run for his money with the phone holder.

I love the open mouth on the phone charger. It's cute! I'm just impressed that you were able to turn a sculpture into something practical.

As for the drawing, I thought it was a photograph at first glance. As someone who's done a lot of drawing, I've got to say I'm even more impressed with all the scales you put in it.
