Mysterious death..,,

I can't seem to figure out what went wrong! My leopard tortoise was fine until yesterday and things took an awful turn. Today I went to some him and I found he isn't moving. I'm so heart broken =(

I've been moving but I kept his cage away from the boxes. I guess now that I think about it yesterday he wasn't really eating. Please any hints as what may have happened! His tank is the correct temperature he has food and water =(

I'm so sorry for your loss, Mary. The only way to truly know what happened is to have a necropsy done, and even then they sometimes can't tell. Lots of baby tortoises don't make it and we always chalk it up to "failure to thrive." I suppose that makes it easier to accept. Just remember that you did the best you could for your little baby.
