Need a waterproof enclosue.

Hello again, another question on enclosures for stars. Just trying to find out if any one has used and sort of plastic or PVC type Viv and if they are any good and worth the extra bit of money.
I have had the Viv exotic melamine Viv and it lasted about 1 and half years without sealing it. I have built a plywood Viv and coated it with 5 coats of ronseal floor varnish but didn't hold up that well, it has started to get damp and it's only been 6months. I haven't got the space to really paint yatch varnish or anything that requires it to be left to air out for a few months and being winter in England can't leave it outside.

Has anyone tried plastic vivs or any reason why they wouldn't work with stars?

If you look at the pinned threads at the top of this section, there is one pinned about closed chambers from PVC sheets and they looked fantastic. They looked like they would hold up well.
