I have a whole bunch of weeds in my backyard where I usually grow my vegetables. I'm about to get the area ready to plant new seeds, but before I just get rid of all the weeds, I wanted to see if any of them can be eaten by my two Sulcatas.
Thanks in advance! ;)

1 and 2 are fine. 2 is mallow. #3 i call sour grass, not sure they will eat it or if its ok ,, at least not in large amounts.. not sure what #4 is. but the grasses and dandilion type weeds are all ok. if it isnt good for them or tastes bad they tend not to eat it. usually.

#4 is red apple. Its a succulent used for ground cover. My sulcatas ate a whole hillside of it years ago and they were fine.

I keep seeing a lot of #8 and I don't know what it is. Time to trek to some garden stores.

#2 - cheeseweed (yes, it's in the mallow family)
#4 - scarlet pimpernel
#5 - looks like a brome, but can't tell which one without seeing the flower

The most edible weeds pictured are the sowthistle and filaree

Hey you grow the same weeds I do. The girls eat them all. The dogs do too. Ahhh, Yes it's time to start the garden prep.
