Hello! I just found this guy/girl in my drive way. I'm not sure what kind it is or if it's male or female. I have a RES but I've never had one of these guys before any info is greatly appreciated! Thankyou!

I havnt had the time to just yet I'm going to put up signs tomorrow and hopefully find the owner but none of my neighbors around here own a tortoise. I'm not sure how far they roam.

They can roam for many, many miles.
And then, sometimes go home again.

Welcome from another Southern California owner!

If you are in the Inland Empire, it is not unsual to have a neighbor who picked one out of the desert illegally, or who had a family member do so.

And of course folks from all over Southern California have adopted one from a rescue society.

Good luck finding its owner; we’re here to help in the meantime!
