How can i avoid my baby sulcata from fliping over :( .he keeps trying to go ontop of the log and flips over..any ideas or something else to i can use ...thanks :) .....for how long do they have to stay upside down for it to have health problems???that wories me thanks

I Had the same problem. i took an old shoe box and cut it out and stapled from the bottom of the log,over the top and the stapled it to the other side.it made it to slippery for him to climb. he never tipped over again. now he got too big, when he goes in it he starts to carry the log on his back. hope this helps

This happens a lot with younger tortoises. They usually end up growing out of it, but removing the log was a good idea for now.
