All red foots need some kind of meat protein weekly. Hatchlings I give 1/8 ounce a week, 5-6" should be about half an ounce a week, 6-8" should be an ounce, and adults should be about 1 1/2-2 ounces a week. Meat protein is crucial to red foots, so they need it weekly. Turkey and chicken are good choices, no red meats. All meat should be cooked...Steamed in a pan works fine.

To steam meat, just put it in a pan, put about a quarter inch of water in the bottom of the pan, and put the lid on. It builds up hot steam and cooks the meat without burning the bottom of it. Baking could work to though.

In terms of names I named one of mine Cereza/Cerezo-Spanish for Cherry due to their native range. Also, you could use countries, Brazil, Columbia, Peru and so on...

I put a bit of steamed chicken in, once a week, with her diet.

Occasionally, turkey as well.
