So after a couple weeks of research and discovering that my previous enclosure wasn't staying very humid, I decided to build Herman a new, semi-enclosed enclosure. I'm fairly proud of it but I want to see what you guys think too.

It's basically 2 large storage boxes from target that I cut holes in and connected together to double his space. I cut areas out of the top to let the heat and UV lamps come through.

I currently have a repti-fogger ordered so I don't have to spray it down throughout the day. So far it stays at >80% humidity and >80 degrees all day.

That's a very good idea!

I read about someone else's idea for the lid. You put the lid on, then cut out the center portion of the lid, creating a lip all around so the tortoise can't climb out. This idea would be good for those low-sided under-the-bed storage bins.

Have you seen your tortoise go through the tunnel?

He has actually gone through the tunnel a couple of times but he seems to prefer the left side of the enclosure. I actually set him down inside the tunnel so he would understand what it was.
