Welcome to the forum my fellow hoosier! I too have a Sulcata that is almost 9 inchs long and he is almost 13 months old! He is a little big for his age compared to a lot of the sullys I have seen and read about. Got any pics of yours? Have a good day!

Welcome! So how did you happen to decide on a sulcata? Is he your first tortoise?

Yeah he/she is my first tortoise. I love it hes the coolest thing in the world. I decided on the sulcata because they are in my opinion they are really cool looking and I was told he would only get 13 to 18 inches. After I decided to get him I found out how big they get. Im ok with it I got it all planned out. It will work out nice. I got a big back yard and I was gonna remodel the screened in back porch anyways .I guess its a tortoise house now. Lol
