So I'm shopping around for a new heat bulb for my tortoise. She's an African spurred tortoise and about 50-60lbs. Winter is coming in Tennessee so I'm looking for some ideas..

Heat bulbs don't really work for larger tortoises. A combination of two heat sources, like a heat mat and radiant heat panel are more effective at heating up larger tortoises. Do you have a insulated house for him?

A portable oil filled radiator type heater is mostly recommended for large tortoises. The night box needs to never go below 80. He does have a night box or shed correct? If not he needs to have one.
You can also use a pig blanket/radiant heat pad on the floor with a radiant heat panel above it but he has to have room to get off it.
