So, I currently have my tort (eastern boxie) in an indoor 40 gallon Rubbermaid storage container. Upgrading to a 50 gallon (because it's a bit longer and wider). I went by lowes and started looking for some plants that I got off an earlier thread on the tortoise forum.
I bought some pansies and an aloe plant. I'm thinking about getting some grass seed mix from either of these two sites (again, I got these links from an earlier thread).

Are there any other tort safe plants/ grasses you guys use for your torts? He doesn't seem interested in plants to eat them.
I don't really have a green thumb and these plants need to be able to go outdoor. Currently drawing up plans for an outdoor enclosure during the summer.

I use a lot of ground cover type plants in the box turtle yards. One of my favorites is the ornamental strawberry (frageria). There are a bunch of ground cover succulents that are good to go outside too.
