Hello. I am new to this. Been recommended by IG friend who say u can help out with tortoise. I would like to know if heat mat is safe or not suitable for my Hermann male tortoise? How can I keep him warm? He still got UV basking light.....but he love go hiding dark place n hr can stay there long time without heat....is that normal behavior for tortoise? Sorry but I am still learning how to handle n care for tortoise
