Well my 2 new leopard torts are in route with delivery tomorrow. Here is some pics of the new enclosure They are small hatchlings. 2 pics show my hidden temps and humidity gauges and the one with my hand in it show their hide it is a terra cotta flower pot on its side buried in the peat moss with peat moss inside. They are all artificial plants for now I have some growing to be planted in there later some cat grass and posies for now going to get a mix of broad leaves and dadiloin later. I know some of one dont care for aquariums but I think this is the best way for me to get the humidity up for the little ones for now, its winter here and the house is very dry with the furnace on. Will be building an out door pen in the summer and a tort table for nest winter. I do have a basking light, ceramic for night heat and a mercury tube light for uvb rays that will go on top of a screen lid covered with tin foil and holes for lights cut out. I hope when they get here tomorrow they will like their new home.

The only problem with aquariums is that they usually are too small. It looks nice, but to small. However, with spring and warmer weather just around the corner, hopefully they won't be too crowded for too long. As for the screen, screen is to tight of a weave to let in enough UVB. Use something with a larger weave. Don't forget pics of your new arrival. Give them a nice long warm soak when you get them.
