Hi guys
I've had my Hermann tort for 4 years now but first time on here. We've built him an enclosure for the garden so that he can hopefully spend the summer outside and then bring him back inside again when it cools down again. Just wondering if there's anything I've missed out that I need to add in??
He's got a wooden house at the bottom end, currently looking into whether I can add a heat lamp into this however currently no electric outside. Either side of the house we've planted some seeds so just waiting for these to grow.
We've been putting him out every morning as soon as the sun hits, so around 9/930 near his house, he's got sun then all day until about 5, he seems to be spending a lot of time buried or in his house, is this normal??!
Any ideas grateful received! I've attached a photo so you can see how it looks!

Does it have a lid? It doesn't look anywhere near tall enough to keep him in if he decides to climb out.

I don't see a water dish for him, and more cover for him to hide under probably wouldn't be amiss.

Doesn't have a lid, he can't climb out as yet however we've got more sleepers on order so it will be twice as high when they arrive. He has a water dish in between the curved bit and also another one inside his house. I shall have a look into more places for him to hide, thankyou!
