I'm posting for the first time. Found the forum very informative. I'm living in England and trying to set up a home for my 1 year old Horsfield I'm collecting in two days. I have a 45x45x45 glass terrarium with a mesh roof, heat mat and mat stat from when my corn snake was little which I planned to use for my tortoise. I also need a heat/uv lamp. This is where I get confused. I have purchased a dimming stat to control the heat in the enclosure but theres so many bulbs to choose from- wattage etc how do I attach it inside the terrarium. any advise would be very welcome. Also had considered having two together but have read that this is not advisable. Any suggestions? Cheers!
