Around a year old now, 472 grams and pretty darn smooth. This was the guy raised with an industrial humidifier at 90% humidity full time.

Just shows what Tom's info can do when taken to the extreme!

About a year old now, give or take a month. he's gained 150 grams in the last 2 months. They grow FAST!

I know right?!? Mine just barely started showing their white growth line and ever since they started growing like a weed. They are gaining 20 grams a week!

That is the definition of smooth! I love that you tried this! I csn see the only side effect is the hard water stains on his shell from the constant moisture. I guess if is a small price to pay for that amount of smoothness!..

Yea. Every month or so I use a bit of vinegar on a soft tooth brush, and it takes it right off. Even seems to enjoy it.
