Been working hard to create a new. Much larger indoor enclosure for my torts.
my 18 year old Sulcata now has 300 sqft of indoor heated space. And my 8 year old Leo now has 100 sqft. Dirt floors, uvb, heat lamps, heat pads, mist king mister on auto, Indoor cement soaking pond. Plus. I have indoor plumbing, so I can wash and clean.
fridge to keep food in. Outdoor space of about 1000 sqft. Small geeen house (bigger one by fall) and an outdoor soaking pond.
now I just need warm weather for grass to grow!!

Wow how nice, wish I had the space for something like that! My daughters tortoise is back inside as the last few days were too cool, hoping to get him out later today and maybe start on a house in the next few weeks that we can add heat too. We have a old chain link dog kennel on a concrete slab that we plan to build a house inside of. That way we can close the door when our dogs are outside and we want to keep them separated, plus it will provide some predator protection, but we will do a door on the house too so it can be closed. I'd like the house to be big en ought that we shouldn't have to do it again for a long time and where he will have enough room to say get off a pig blanket if he is too warm.
