New Suet VISITOR

Earlier this past week I hung a second suet cage with a new cake of suet in it. No visitors until this morning!

My parents up in Michigan get them a lot in the summer. Some are so big and look prehistoric. They are really cool birds.

We have them in our woods here in upstate NY. They are pretty impressive when they are in flight, and have a very distinctive, and loud, woodpecker call.
