new sully

I would very much like to add a new sully baby to my home...unfortunately where I live they are hard to find. And when you can locate them, people are charging between $150-200 (vs places like AZ where their typically sold for around $50-$80).

I would also prefer to rescue one if possible...

Are there any "rescues" that any of you know of?

You might try our rescue program here under Tortoise Rescue Network (TRN.) They're always looking for people to help out with rescues. I assume you've read all the threads on how to care for sullies since you have one already. But, just in case you haven't, Tom lists a few threads on care and prep for sullies and other tortoises.

where are you? I assume you have a large yard and can provide heat in the winter..
some places will ship if you pay. Or go for a drive and pick one up in need of a new home.

Yes...I take great care of mine...very familiar with their needs and what it takes.

Yes. Have a 56 acre home. Plenty of space. Have a room all set up to keep the warm. Doesn't stay cold in SC very long anyway. Mine loves the summers outside.

And yes. I am prepared to separate them if need be.

I'm also looking for more than one instead of just a pair...I know they usually do better in groups.
