Newbie to tortoises and the forum!!!
Below are pix of my yet to be named, Leopard Tortoise... She has "split scutes" which I don't know AT ALL what that means, just as far as I know she is 3yrs old and supposedly healthy. She's not under a lamp in the pix becuz I was watering her and getting her some mazuri that the gentleman gave me. I REALLY wanted a tortoise or turtle of some kind that didn't need to be submerged 99% of the time... I used to rescue water turtles for years..... Any advice that anyone could give me about leopard torties, their care, and what to watch out for, would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
P.S. I hope to make a few acquaintances on here too! ^_~
